Were the 11 leaves on the passenger side?
Years and years ago after a local mechanic here retired and sold his garage, he bought a motor home. One of the first things he did with it was to add an extra leaf to each spring pack on the passenger's side. His theory was that it would help compensate for the crown in the centre of the road.
