Tearing into this old ambulance body today. The farmer rigging for the cab is very ugly but well thought out. ..bolts and hooks, very little welding to the original metal so torching off old carriage bolts to find great door jambs behind it. Pulled the windshield too, other than breaking a couple of the screws for the wiper covers, frame came out easy peasy....And ZERO rust behind the seal. Frame itself appears to be near perfect!
Hot and humid outside but bearable in the shop, Pink Floyd cranked on the old Pioneer...maybe I'll mosey the '41 to town for some fuel and a six pack.
