That makes sense to me. I bump the throttle it gives a gas squirt runs better, clear out the excess at higher RPMs let off the throttle it idles for a while then starts to run like crap but it can hold 3K smooth? The Governor is killing my power in 4th gear it wants to stay at 2000 RPMs under load but revs 3K plus under no load? Even down hill I can feel it holding back. Fastest I have got it so far is 2200 RPMs in 4th gear which is kind of moving with out a cab and this light with no brakes to speak of. I have now run 10 gals of Gas thru the engine driving and tuning the engine. It just ran out on me in the yard working on it. It stalled and I could hear air and gurgling at the carb bowl from the electric pump till I put more gas in the tank.
