Is there such a motor as a 221?

Found an old motor I can probably get very cheaply, but I am not sure what it is. It has a tag on it that says "New Factory Built Motor Model 221" followed by some language about parts from a parts book. It's extremely rusty, but still has all the accessories on it including carb and deep oil-bath air cleaner, so I'm thinking there's a good chance water hasn't gotten into the cylinders. Intake manifold looks smaller than what I'm used to. Bell housing has 3 round screened vents at the top. It has the tiniest transmission I've ever seen, with two rotary linkages to it, a long tail piece, and a hand brake drum about 6" in diameter. The guy says it's a 3-on-the-tree car transmission. Tweakers recently stole the radiator off it. Not sure why they didn't steal the alternator and starter, but maybe the bolts were too rusty. It's attached to a portion of a frame that looks like a car frame to me. The head is 23" long. I've heard of 215s, 230s, and 251s, but never a 221. Maybe the model number isn't the displacement. Any ideas?
