Thanks. A stepside bed would look neat on the crew cab, but I can't afford to give up the cargo space. Specifically, I built fuel tanks over the wheel wells in my bed that I don't want to give up. I can haul 130 gallons of biodiesel and still have room for 2500 lbs of Sheetrock (for instance) in 4'x8' sheets between the tanks.
It's a shame. A benefit of a step side bed would be no more rusty wheel wells where the inner and outer fender weld together. Sometimes simpler is better.
