most all vehicles back then had left hand threads on one side. not just a dodge thing. I think ford had them on super duty hd rear axles into the late 80s. not sure if any big rigs still use left hand but the friction shops that reline the shoes and clutches for them still stock lots of left hand studs and nuts. I always keep mine stock with left hand on left side
