So you have new brake cylinders, drums, pads and adjusting hardware? Everything you are saying sounds like they are way too loose. The book says like 5-7 thousanths I think, but when I did that my pedal went half way to the floor. Folks on the forum say adjust until they just drag. I did that and mine are fine now. Too much drag and they will lock up when you drive it and they get hot, so be careful.
