i built the 1 story house in 96 with wood rafters and spanish clay tile roof but turns out what was supposed to be termite proof was not or at least half of it

built the house foundation for two stories thinking someday i might add on to it

the roof rotted and was about to fall on my head and i mamaged to remove the worst half and poor the second floor over it which is the area now designated for a hostel hoping the other half would last another year b 3 weeks ago i noticed it would not so we tore it off poured 2 concrete 12 sq in. columns on 1 cu. meter footings and then poured 2 concrete beams ea. 6 in x 20 in and 4 in slab on top of the coloums

columns were reinforced with 1/2 rebar columns and the beams and slab with 3/8 rebar
