w100 lug pattern

Hi guys. I know that 1965 and prior - w100 had 8 lug axles. But I believe in 1966 they changed to 5 lug. If I am right...what was that pattern. 5 on 4.5? or 5 on 5 or ... 5 on 5.5? I can imagine a 5 on 4.5 with an axle hole...
Also..were post 1965 w100 15 inch rims or 16 inch. Thanks...any other info is appreciated
