Yes, ball link assembled correctly with new parts and studs into the narrow ends.
Tie rod ends screwed on equally on either side and tires parallel.
Nope, box is the original and has been rebuilt and functions fine.
Just checked the steering stops. I was able to remove them although the stop nuts are welded to the stop bolts. They came out as an assembly. I used new bolts to set the stops and compared them to the originals. They matched up in length. So, I reinstalled the originals.
I've played with it a little more and got it closer but I'm still 2.25 turns to the left and 1.8 turns to the right, stop to stop.
