to check centering, pull the pitman arm, sets wheels straight forward, find center of steering box; to do this turn steering wheel all the way one way and count total turns turning the wheel in the other direction. divide by 2 and set steering wheel in the center, put the pitman arm back on and see if it is fixed. if you have power steering center should be about 2 1/4 turns depending on box used. with a reverse rotaion box the flat spot will be 180 degrees from hose connections when centered.
