Front Spring Questions...

Replaced my front springs over the past couple of days. I found what I expect was previous damage repair.

The spring perch on the passenger side is different from the drivers side. Also, the shock mount was welded to the axle on the passenger side, not on the drivers side?

The shock mounts are not supposed to be welded on, correct? Is this a problem that I need to fix or just leave it alone and move on? Everything went back together OK and seems to drive fine.

By the way, I gained 2.5 inches of lift in the front. Looks much better now.
