M37 tune up question

I just did a tune up on Blueberry (M37). Stock 24 volt waterproof system. I replaced the usual cap, points condenser and sandblasted the plugs as they were almost new. The M37 distributor is almost impossible to work on in the truck, so I pulled the distributor and set it all up on the bench. Reinstalled the dist, timed it and took it for a test drive. It definately runs better but when I am decellerating at a stop sign, or slowing down to turn into my drive, it will quit. Starts right back up, and will sit and idle all day long. It never did this before, and I did nothing with the carb. Any input would be appreciated.
