Power Steering Question

Got the power steering box out of the WDX to replace the sector shaft seals. Anyone have a slick trick on removing the old seal? Internet recommends starting up the truck and using the fluid pressure to pop it out, but that wouldn't work in it's installed location as the seal is blocked by the frame, not to mention the mess it would make all over the truck.
