You should also replace the outer wheel bearing nut. It's the one with the flange. The seal rides on the flange surface. If it has any scoring from prior seals, the new seal will not work. Oil will leak out the hub. Been there, done that many times.
Also, when replacing the new paper hub flange gasket, coat with Permatex black gasket compound on both sides. That's what I do anyway.
