There are after market tops for the big end, but you need to order the right one. There are no after market ones for the top cap with the adjustment screw. When replacing the cap you may wish to replace the O ring as well. Give it a good look for nicks and damage if you want to use the old one.
The cap does not have to come off a reverse rotation box to work, all it needs is to be the same diameter.
Been there, done that, you ain't the only person that has run into this. Seen it done as a trail fix.
