The business. Paul i would have replaced the alternator in about 10 minuets or less. 1 quick check with my tester and a new alternator would have been ordered. When you have all the time in the world you can analyze and think about things, but in todays auto shop time is money. Replace the unit with a good quality part and dont look back.
