Since seeing your M37 rescue picture I wanted one, but didn't really pursue it.
This one kind of fell in my lap!
I'm not sure yet on the year, as the Data plate don't show it, which is strange.
It reads M35A1 From the Army it went to State of IL., then I.
They had it licensed and titled as a 78 AM General. The engine has a manufacture date of 3/78
Rebuild tags on T-Case. and Trans. but no date that I can read.
All VIN numbers match Data plate, frame, title.
It has to have been upgraded sometime because no way a 75 is A1. and the an engine change later?
Who knows! All I know is it's solid and Runs Great.
From the pile of TM's I have, and reading Steel Soldiers, The M35 and early M35A1 were
Gas then switch to the LDS427 Multi-fuel while still in A1.
The exhaust could be exiting between the rear tandems or vertical with a change to all vertical, and no more Gas engines.
It's had the dash, mirrors, and 65Amp Alt. upgrade.
I have a set of larger composite lights and clearance lights I want to add.
