First time I been around one of these in forty years.
It's a solid truck and after an hour of tinkering it fired right up.
I think it's the 465 engine has a Manf. date of 3/1978. But my books that came with it read LDS427-2 I'm not sure what I have yet.
The State of IL titled as a 75 AM General,
But the Data tag reads M35A1,and I'm sure it's a A1 with the older lights and few other things. I'm not sure when the A1 quit and A2 started?
It left the Military and went to state of IL then Me.
I will get it figured out.
It has the sprag T-case which I'm not thrilled about, but I understand how it works,and what not to do, I hope!
Next is pull the wheels and start a brake job from scratch.
