The 4bt fan hub bolts to the block behind the tensioner and than hangs over in front of the timing cover.

You can see in this photo 3 of the 4 bolt holes on the head where an alternate fan hub can mount. You can't just move the existing hub up. The bolt patterns are not the same. The pattern on the head is square or rectangular. The bolt pattern on the block is a trapezoid.
