What I have done is pull the truck into the garage with the cab ready to remove. I have 4 eye bolts on the beams. I will jack up the whole truck quite high. Then attach straps to where the radiator support rods attach to the firewall and two straps to the back of cab. Then lower the frame which leaves the cab swinging in the air. I will then lower the cab an put it on supports of some type. On the carryall I actually had to pull the tires to slide the frame out as my ceiling is low. I actually painted a lot of the carryall suspended in the air.
