Took a lot of careful painful grinding using a thin disk. After a few hours it was off. Then I un/bolted the skid plate by cutting the bolts off and grinding out a weld I missed! Glad I did not try to do this after it was painted and the bed mounted over it. The tow pin has to stay just to much welding to cut or grind off. Sure looks better with all that iron off the frame on the back.
