The easy way to put the two together is to find
a late 50's Dodge PU with a 315 and 4 spd. The poly 315 is the same block as the 315 hemi so the bell housing will work on the 270 or any
early hemi, 241-392, they are all the same.
The 315 bell housing has the correct np420 bolt pattern.The PW uses a longer input shaft but can be changed.
There are some early hemi 2 ton trucks with usable
bell housing but may have many
different trans bolt patterns, 4 and 5spd.
Some do have the lugs cast inside to drill
the proper trans pattern if need be. As Kaegi
said you have to make your own mounts. The clutch fork will use the same throw out
bearing, and is the proper length.
