You know when it is in 4X4 when you turn it will hop unless your in snow or mud turning tight. I think it is worth while to check them. I just had to do my 79 Chevy 1 ton Dana front end with new bearings, seals, u-joints and Warn Hubs but that axle is 35 years old. I did it because I am keeping it not that they all were wore out. The U-Joints were loose but bearings OK.
