My dad was from Bellefontaine, Ohio, by way of Granite City, Ill. I only have been to Granite City once, 50 years ago. In August. Hot and humid.
We have yo yo weather this time of year, too. Some days I am in shorts, some days not. Almost every day some rain falls. We still have a fire in the stove almost every day. But the leaves are starting to show and the grass is coming up, so it's all good.
Anyway, that is an interesting piece of iron. I hope you can find one. It would really take some talent to make one.
