The truck was only 20 miles away at the Cooper's Rock exit near our rally site. Dave Speed brought the truck to WV a few years ago. He had to move and left it behind in storage and incomplete. I got a call from the father of the guy who bought it out of storage. He saved my number from the article about our rally in the local paper. They were going to sell it for scrap! It was cheap since it has no title and Dave took off the intake, carb and headers. Rebuilt poly has never been run.
According to Eric's Town Wagon and Town Panel site, Town Panels were available with fixed side windows. All of the photos I have seen have square or rectangular windows unlike the trapezoidal windows in this truck. They look well made and installed, so who knows?
Someone added a big side window and sun roof. These have been removed and sheet metal riveted in place.
