I have always thought that the 1/2 ton WC is one of the best looking, well proportioned truck that fits with the scope of a "ffpw". Also as there is direct lineage from these trucks to the classic WDX-WM300, I think its a good choice for restoration beyond dollars. Although not the reason for restoring one,finding good examples for restoration is become harder. I think that the open cab version is great but the closed cab does offer year round driving for those living in northern climates. I wish it did come with a winch though. My truck is onlyin the beginning stages of restoration but I am shooting for 2016 to complete the job for the 75th anniversary on August 8th.
