As I have previously posted, it might be possible to mount the T-case further towards the back of the cab, keeping the original tranny to T-case shaft and just lengthen the front dr. shaft and shorten the rear. It would be nice to have both the front and rear dr. shafts the same length as to be interchangable. There is a doubled U-joint CV unit that was used on a older ford application which has the same dia. and spline as the PW T-case. Used on the front and rear output shafts at the T-case would seem to help matters? Too bad we couldn't come up with a foundation for existing parts research that would be devoted to all types of worthy research, design, and manufacture of items to adapt existing parts to each other for converting or modifing vehicles, thus saving energy, materials, and eliminate the production pollution of making new vehicles.Maybe we could get a government grant to study the possible benefits of such a program and use our Dodges as reasearch subjects and wind it all up with free funding to build the parts and adapters to upgrade our dodges! Wow! government funding to build a totally new OD tranny, new brakes idependent front and rear suspension axle w/centered diff., new 300hp hemi6 in-line or diesel, swivel frame, etc.
