Is an NV4500 an overdrive transmission? If not, why bother? Or...why not find an NP540 (optional on some W500's)? They have an OD on 5th gear and from what I understand they will bolt right up in place of an NP435, assumming what I read was correct. Can an RKI shed some light on this?
