just bought a 1954 radio truck ( can't remember the numbers off hand ,15? something, a candian truck anyway )

anyway my dad has been drooling over my m37, he wants to buy it off me and drop in a 12 valve cummins ,wiring and related running gear ( including axles) .

my concern is that the cummins might be too long and possibly too loud ( considering there is no noise insulation between the cab and engine .
but it looks like the front end ( ie rad support ) could be stretched roughly 8 inches to come even to the bumper and a custom rad built.
any ideas for a intercooler ? anyone have any idea how much power the intercooler adds to a cummins ?
he wants to stick with dodge stuff that can be bought off the self at any dealer .

if he pulls it off ,i might do the same thing to the radio truck i just bought.

otherwise i'm thinking a 318 with the new mopar stroker crank and diffs out of a newer 3/4

anyway thanks for your ideas and input

reg
