the starting sequence number for 1968 is 780000, your truck is 796413.

It should have a louvered hood, with a flat lower edge at the grill, which is specific for the 1968 year, similar to previous models. It should have an older style dash with a "kicked up" instrument cluster on the drivers side.

Be happy its a 1968, as the 1970 just ain't as beefy. Trans is a 435D3.
