Kudos to Carl for another FANTASTICK trip!!
After beating around in the old PW, I think I will bring an M37 next time...or maybe a
WC-37-RC1????? (in the works!!!) And after meeting many of the contributors of this forum, (it is nice to put a face to the names) Digger & I departed on Saturday, only to be delayed by the purchase of a 1967 D500
truck in Delta (next to a rebuildable '57 W-100 that was already sold!) So Digger drove the 500 home! A little shimmy & drive-line vibration, but we made it home in 17 hours!! (Compared to 13 going to Colorado!) I will be posting a link to some pictures of the rendezvous soon! Thanks again to Carl for a job well done! I had the only STOCK truck there! (no lockers, no V8, no frills!) And the old girl did good at 13,000 + feet without any adjustments!! Spectacular scenery, great people too! It definitely compares to our Idaho ride!! My only complaint is the large number of *SUV's*
with drivers that have no idea of off road driving rules!!! Oh well.....See ya next time!!!!
