I have put 3 point (shoulder belts) in both my PW and Carryall. I would not drive with out them. Originality is nice but I will not risk my life. Ask my son who rolled our Willys and the drivers door opened up and he stayed in and all he got was a bruised elbow. He remembers everything about the roll and the door.

Someone commented that they wonder if there is enough metal in the PW to install them. No question. I have both attached to the box that forms the rear door post. Each was done differently. But if you think about it there is more metal in the PW then what they use in current cars. Just be sure to use large washers or doubblers so that the bolts have less chance of pulling through the metal.

The outher ting I would absolutely address are the brakes. At minimum I would put disks up front with a dual master cylinder. The PW systems are old and are not designed for today's use. Put a load in your PW and try to stop from 35 to 40 MPH to avoid the car that just pulled in front of you and hit their brakes. You will be sitting on his front bumper by the time you have started to slow down. I am waiting for Ray to start shipping his dual master cylinder conversion.
