i own a truck repair facility. i currently have 2 ace bodymen who come from a country where parts are still fabricated because replacement doors, fenders and the like are not available. i am close to finishing my command car and have an eye toward my next project. there is a 6x6 dodge wc63 near me with no bed. i have access to two fair to good dodge cabs (1pw & 1 2wd dodge). im thinking about building a crew cab dodge pw on the wc63 frame. i dont want 2 rear axles, but i want a crew cab with a standard bed (dave maher repro possibly. the extra length frame i think would enable me to use a full size bed. helitool engine, brakes, power steering & centered rear diff with 1.50 transfer case. i would use 3/4 ton nose with wc fenders. fred c. do you see any problems with this frame / bed combo any advice is appreciated during this thinking stage.
