AHH! I see,Thanks George(from alberta) I would have never thought he was talking about what I referred to as splash guards(the 2-pieces with louvers)as they are in essence, a fenderwell type piece. I don't think or remember ,if I've ever heard them called a name or even spoken of on this forum.
What is the correct term for them? As I said, I've always referred to them as splash guards as well as the 2-pieces that bolt to the frame on either side of the eng. and almost touch the oil pan.
There should be an exploded chart as with firearms showing where each bodypiece goes and listing its name beside the number.Sounds good to me.
As for color, think they were in most cases painted black to match the fenders but, PWs are not restricted to any color, whatever you like.
