Test Fitting the Bed 1

Before doing the body work and paint, I wanted to test fit the bed on my '49 civilian so I could make any adjustments/modifications ahead of time. I'm using a set of Matt Tisdale's bed sides, and a front panel and tailgate that I got from Randy B. Although things went pretty well, I had a couple of issues/questions. First, how is the upper left front corner supposed to look? Right now, the roll on the side panel extends past the roll of the front panel by 1/4 inch or so. Is it supposed to be flush? On my original bed side (that is trashed), the side panel roll seems to end right in front of the stake box, but it's really corroded so maybe it used to extend further forward? Any help would be appreciated.
