The covered bridge near my house was sprayed with a pump-up garden sprayer. The coating doesn't show up. It definitively works the bridge was set on fire by an arsonist and didn't burn. The area torched was only left blackened. Amazing for an unpainted 100 year old structure. I don't know what product was used but I did see it being sprayed on. Jim
