The W500 was made from 1957 to 1971 with the model number on the tag changing to E50 in 1970-71. The parts book decodes E50 as a W500. From 1972 until the end of production the same basic truck was called a W600. Nothing more changed on the 1969 W500 vs the 1968 W500 than changed between the 1968 and 1969 W100. In fact the W100 added a wheel base so that might be looked at as a bigger change.
