I'm a proud owner of a '79 with "power wagon" on the hood but I kind of have to agree with the hippies that a wc or an m-37 is absolutely powerwagon...ish. :)
Hard to fault a non-expert - dodge made a bigger mistake than that when they badged trucks with ft 44 front axles, 203 t-cases, light sheet metal, and a bunch of crappy plastic on the inside. It took a 50% transfusion of Ram power to make the '79 PW worthy of the name.
