On my '41 I used a box from a 1975ish International 100 pickup because that is what was laying around. Turns out it was the right box, and the WC steering arm went right on.

The only problem I have with it is that the inside diameter is a little bit smaller than the original arm for this box, but the taper is the same. This just means that when fully seated, the nut retaining the arm locks down tight with no stickout on the threads of the sector shaft. I built the truck in 2008-9 and have only had the nut be loose once since then and that was the very first time I had ever checked it.

My setup is a bit of a bastardized system, I'm using the '75 IH box with a shaft from an early Dodge Dakota. It was an aluminum end which was a little small so I drilled it out, put it on the box, and tightened the piss out of it which pressed new splines into the fitting. That has worked out OK and never come loose or spun, but I would not do it the same way again. I have run the box from 2 different saginaw pumps, one from a 70's model Lincoln when I had the hydroboost setup on it, and now it is running from a pump out of an early 90's S10 Blazer which is out of my Jeep and has much higher pressure, so high that I swapped out the orifice fitting with the old one because the steering assist was too great.

For the brackets, I just made the setup myself. I used some 1.5"x 3/8" thick angle welded and gusseted to the inside of the frame, then on the outside I fish plated the frame since I had to trim the top to accommodate the gear box and I had to move the hole in the frame down about 1/2" if I remember right.

Regardless of how you end up doing it, It is a very good idea to check all of the mounting bolts regularly. It never fails that each time I check it, at lease one of the mounting bolts has worked itself loose.
