Best example of the results of putting sound proofing in is my WC53. Before it was ear plugs or ringing ears after a drive. After, no ear plugs and I can talk to people in the truck and listen to the radio at times. The biggest improvement was sound proofing under the seat. Yes there was a lot of improvement doing the firewall, doors and body shell but for some reason doing the floor under the seat made a big difference. I have fitted 3/8 inch thick rubber floor mats in the front. I made them out of the mats they use in horse trailers to stop the horses from slipping and falling. Great for dirt and mud also.
