I just cleaned about 40 Head Bolts all 7/16 off a 48-218cid and 53-230cid but they are pretty much the same except for some head stamps. I am going to pick out all the CX Bolts and the needed drilled & tapped head bolts.
Could be they drilled/tapped a couple out larger and used 1/2" bolts?
