I would love disk brakes! Where I live manuals are OK. I have a 24 mile round trip to town on a 50 MPH curvy road in the country with hardly no cars on it. Town is 25-35 MPH and little traffic. Now in Seattle it is a different story!! Those other cars have way better brakes and can stop fast and love to do it in front of you. You need them in city traffic to be safe.
