Fuel injection may be more complicated engineering wise, but all those black boxes make it far more adaptable, and they don't really "wear out" over time. It's rare my fuel injected vehicles don't start as well in 0-degree weather as they do at 90 degrees, no tune-up required.

Guess it's all in what you know. I'm far more comfortable with how fuel injection works than a carb. They're fascinating machines, but they're as much magic to me as fuel injection is to others.
