It's amazing, isn't it? I had a friend who took excellent care of himself, didn't smoke, jogged frequently, and died at 50. My wife's grandfather smoked White Owl cigars, averaged 1 qt. Old Crow whiskey a day, and live to his 90s. I believe taking care of yourself can't really hurt, environment can hurt, but genetics are probably the biggest thing. The common thread seems to be that no one is in a big hurry to cash in and leave.
