None of the 39/47 pickups have the rear wheel centered and it's more obvious on a 1 ton like this. The springs are pinned at the front end and as the load comes on, the rear axle moves slightly rearwards, looks wierd but that's the way they are and the angle of a picture can exaggerate the effect.
