Fasnacht Day. PA Dutch tradition

Get you fasnachts tomorrow morning with your coffee. All the local Churches and Fire Company's have been making them the last few days. Its a great day for a Pennsylvania Dutchman. I have one customer who would get up very early and make them every year. Her husband would bring them by and they would still be warm. She past away this past year. Her husband stopped a few days ago to tell me that he was sorry but no fasnacht this year. I told him no need to be sorry. I was glad we could enjoy his wife fasnachts for all those years. We both had a good cry. Good folks love them. Bill
