Take it from a guy who had to learn his lesson on combat wheels the hard way. I bought 15 combat wheels from a guy in west Texas. The wheels appeared to be in great shape so i bought them thinking i would knock the tires off and sell them for a few buck extra. I figured that had spent most of there life in the desert and would have very little moisture exposure. I put an add up on the classifieds and most of them sold in less than a week. Then the lesson...The damn tires don't come off! I spent hours on each wheel soaking them in gasoline, prying sawing and beating on them before i could get the tire dismounted. I literally spent weeks working on them every day trying to break down the tires that i had promised people. Then once i had them broke down they weren't in that great of condition...on top of everything else i had to reduce the price of most of the tires to be fair to the buyers. It was a total nightmare!! Turns out water gets in threw the valve stem hole and the tubes trap the moisture inside which rust out the insides of the rims with pitting and decay. Unless you find some that have already been broke down and are in good shape YOU DONT WANT TO MESS WITH THEM. What they look like on the outside doesn't reflect the condition of the inside.
