They are indicator lights. They indicate you are approaching a vehicle 80" or wider. Period. has nothing to do with commercial vehicle, length of vehicle or the height or weight Its width only. While they are required to be there for the 80" or more there is nothing that says you cant put them on for grins and giggles. There is no power wagon content. FYI got my 5 ton stuck today. broke the winch snapped the cable... finally 2 hours latter got it out..
