Im still hunting replacement transfer case options for our F600/700 trucks. The T 136 might be at the top of my list but I need some measurements from one and I can't put my hands on one locally.

I really need the dimensions between shaft centerlines as well as the "depth" between the faces of the front and rear output flanges. From what I can tell, they use the same drive flange (maybe not shaft size) as our 223's so it would be a few hundred bucks getting driveshafts shortened.

I can get these cases used between $150 for the sprag type and $350 for the air actuated, and under $1000 for a military recon or even NOS case.

We have even discussed doing an on-paper refit of one of these trucks and repowering with CAT or Cummins surplus diesels. The chassis on these trucks works well for our needs and seem to be more rugged and economically serviced than the modern equivalents. Also, we can get 5 tons on the cheap, but they are too big and slow to use as primary apparatus for the entire rural fleet.
